Emsculpt NEO uses HIFEM (high-intensity focused electromagnetic) energy to force the muscle in the target area to contract 20,000 times in 30 minutes — a level no voluntary workout can achieve.
The simultaneous radiofrequency component heats the fat layer above the muscle to a level that causes lipolysis (fat-cell death). So you build muscle and reduce fat in the same session.
Independent clinical studies show an average 25% increase in muscle mass and 30% reduction in fat in the treated area after a series of 4 treatments. The result is visible muscle definition, not just “tone.”
Postpartum patients use Emsculpt specifically for diastasis recti (abdominal-wall separation) — the muscle stimulation re-engages the rectus abdominis in a way that’s hard to achieve voluntarily.

The things people ask before booking.
Does it hurt?
You’ll feel intense involuntary muscle contractions — strange, but not painful. We start at lower intensity and build up. Soreness for 1–2 days after, similar to a hard workout.
How many sessions will I need?
Standard protocol: 4 sessions spaced 1 week apart. Maintenance: 1 session every 3 months keeps the result.
When will I see results?
Visible muscle change at week 2. Peak result at 3 months. Most patients see and feel changes after the 2nd session.
Can I keep working out?
Yes — and you should. Emsculpt supplements training, it doesn’t replace it. Strength training continues to be the most important thing for muscle maintenance.
Does it help diastasis recti?
Yes — significantly. The forced muscle contractions re-engage the rectus abdominis. Most postpartum patients with mild-to-moderate diastasis see substantial closure after 4 sessions.
How is this different from CoolSculpting?
CoolSculpting reduces fat only. Emsculpt builds muscle AND reduces fat. They can be combined — many of our patients do CoolSculpting first for fat reduction, then Emsculpt for muscle tone.
