Targeted exfoliation to brighten skin, treat melasma, soften acne scars, or even tone — chosen by depth and acid blend, not by brand name. Some go deep enough to need a quiet week after. Others — the Sensi Peel among them — leave you with no downtime at all.
Wilmington patients make up a significant slice of our regulars — most drive up Route 202 through Greenville and Hockessin to reach our Chadds Ford location in about 20 minutes. We’re the closest boutique medspa with on-site physician oversight to the Delaware Greenville corridor.

Most patients who come to Contoured for chemical peels have tried at least one other provider. The recurring patterns:
That’s not how we work.
We use Medical-grade glycolic, salicylic, lactic and TCA blends from PCA Skin, including the no-downtime Sensi Peel. We chose these specific protocols because of clinical evidence, predictability, and our aestheticians’ deep experience with it. Every plan is reviewed by our Medical Director, Dr. Benjamin Lam, DO — board-certified plastic surgeon and clinical associate professor at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Chemical peels are controlled exfoliation. We apply a specific acid blend — glycolic, salicylic, lactic, TCA, or a combination — at a precise concentration and pH for a set time, then neutralize.
The acid removes the outermost damaged skin layers and triggers your body to build fresh new skin underneath. The result depends entirely on the acid choice and the depth.
Light peels — the PCA Sensi Peel is our go-to — brighten and even tone with zero social downtime, which makes them easy to book before an event or a trip. Medium-depth peels (TCA blends, Jessner’s) treat melasma and post-acne scarring with 3–5 days of peeling. Deeper peels target sun damage and fine lines but require 5–7 days of social downtime.
What we won’t do is an overly aggressive blend that leaves you raw for two weeks. We’d rather do a series of medium peels than one too-deep peel that backfires.
“The right acid, at the right depth, for the right skin.”
Every chemical peels patient moves through these four steps. The same way. The same hands.
Free 30-minute consult. We look at the area you want treated, talk about what bothers you, and tell you what we’d do — and what we wouldn’t. No pressure to book that day.
A written long-term plan, with package pricing available if it suits. You decide when to come back.
Conservative dosing. Precise technique. Same provider each visit. Every plan reviewed by Dr. Lam.
Photos at follow-up. Notes that travel with you. Year-over-year continuity is the result.
Continuity is the work. We don’t hand you off, and Amy has been studying faces for twenty years.

Medical Director · Plastic Surgeon
Board-certified plastic surgeon. Director of the Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship at PCOM. Reviews every plan.
Because every treatment plan is a little different, your exact pricing is confirmed at your consultation — and shown in our online scheduler before you book. Packages are available if they suit your plan — no surprises either way.
Most Wilmington patients tried at least one other provider — either downtown Wilmington or the Trolley Square area — before finding Contoured. The recurring story we hear: they wanted same-injector continuity, conservative dosing, and a real physician supervising their care, and they weren’t finding all three in one place. We do all three by design.
Getting here: 20-minute drive via I-95 N to US-202 N (about 14 miles). Free parking at Old Ridge Village.
Every treatment at Contoured is delivered by a named, credentialed team member — and every dosing plan is reviewed by a board-certified physician.
