HydraFacial in Kennett Square, PA — the every-six-weeks reset.

The medical-grade cleanse-extract-hydrate that became the most-booked skin treatment in the world for a reason. We add brand-specific boosters that off-the-shelf medspa versions don’t.

Kennett Square is the closest of our service neighborhoods — most patients reach Contoured in 15 minutes via Route 1. The boutique-medical-grade combination we offer doesn’t exist within the borough itself, so Kennett patients have always come up to us.

If you’ve seen this before

You’ve seen HydraFacial done badly.

Most patients who come to Contoured for hydrafacial have tried at least one other provider. The recurring patterns:

  • A regular facial that left your skin red, irritated, and broken out the next day.
  • Manual extractions that gave you bruises along your jawline.
  • A “HydraFacial” elsewhere that was just water and a vacuum — no real serums, no real result.
  • Skin that looks dull no matter how much retinol you use at home.

That’s not how we work.

What we use, and why

HydraFacial MD (FDA-cleared medical-grade device). Conservative dosing. Dr. Lam reviewing every plan.

We use HydraFacial MD (FDA-cleared medical-grade device). We chose this specific device/protocol because of clinical evidence, predictability, and our aestheticians’ deep experience with it. Every plan is reviewed by our Medical Director, Dr. Benjamin Lam, DO — board-certified plastic surgeon and clinical associate professor at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.

What it actually is

HydraFacial — in plain language.

HydraFacial is a 3-step medical-grade facial: cleanse + exfoliate, extract (vacuum-based, much less abrasive than manual extractions), and hydrate with a tailored serum.

The proprietary device uses a vortex of water + serum to deliver actives deep into the skin while simultaneously suctioning out debris. It’s the only device cleared for this exact protocol.

We add brand-specific boosters — Skinceuticals C E Ferulic or our own brightening cocktail — that the typical “HydraFacial menu” doesn’t include.

Most patients book monthly. Some come weekly before an event. Some come quarterly. The protocol doesn’t damage the skin, so there’s no “right” interval — only what works for your goals.

“The skin treatment that doesn’t require a recovery weekend.”

How we work

The Contoured Method — for HydraFacial.

Every hydrafacial patient moves through these four steps. The same way. The same hands.

  1. 01

    Listen

Free 30-minute consult. We look at the area you want treated, talk about what bothers you, and tell you what we’d do — and what we wouldn’t. No pressure to book that day.

  2. 02

    Plan

A written long-term plan, with package pricing available if it suits. You decide when to come back.

  3. 03

    Treat

Conservative dosing. Precise technique. Same provider each visit. Every plan reviewed by Dr. Lam.

  4. 04

    Track

Photos at follow-up. Notes that travel with you. Year-over-year continuity is the result.

We bill per visit. Packages available.

Because every treatment plan is a little different, your exact pricing is confirmed at your consultation — and shown in our online scheduler before you book. Packages are available if they suit your plan — no surprises either way.

Common questions

The things people ask before booking.

How often should I get a HydraFacial?
Most patients book monthly — that timing matches the natural skin-cell turnover cycle. Bridal or pre-event clients sometimes come weekly for 4 weeks before the date.
Is there any downtime?
None. You can apply makeup an hour later and go back to your day. Your skin will be slightly pink for an hour from the cleanse step.
Can I get one before an event?
Yes — we recommend 3–5 days before. That gives your skin time to fully settle and lets the brightening effect peak.
What are the boosters?
Optional concentrated serums added to your treatment for specific concerns: anti-aging, brightening, clarifying, lymphatic, lip plumping, eye perk. We choose with you at consult.
Will it help my acne?
For mild-to-moderate non-inflammatory acne (blackheads, congestion, occasional breakouts) — yes, significantly. For active inflammatory acne, we use a different protocol.
Can I combine it with Botox or fillers?
Yes. HydraFacial is non-invasive and won’t affect injectables. We typically schedule HydraFacial first, then injectables, in the same visit if you want both.
